27.11.2020-RIA Novosti. Roskartografiya and media Agency Axiom published a video clip about how Russia would sound if its terrain were sound vibrations.
"Russia is a huge country with a diverse terrain. If you translate terrain profiles into musical vibrations, you will get a sound series. We present to your attention a composition created by roskartography based on the terrain of Russia, " the explanation for the clip says.
On the map that the sound wave follows, Smolensk, Moscow, Karabash (Chelyabinsk region), Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, lake Baikal, Stanovoe highlands, Zeyskoe reservoir, the sea of Okhotsk, Ichinskaya and Klyuchevskaya hills are marked.
